If you swing an axe enough, one day, you’re going to miss. If your axe head misses the log to the left, right, or back, your axe will plant itself safely in the dirt (rest in peace, sharp edge). If you miss to the front (called an overstrike), you place incredible pressure on the handle and can even break your head off (rest in peace, handle). If you put this axe collar on your WOOX axe, it will protect your handle from some of the damage of overstrikes. Take care of your tool, and it will take care of you!
